The year started at
the Calvary Presbyterian Church Brookton, giving the outside a facelift.
Our time at Coober Pedy Anglican Church was spent building a fence come side of shed and and interactive display of the church
Whilst working at CP,
we were taken out to Oodnadatta and saw the famous Pink Roadhouse!

The next place of call
was at AIM Alice Springs. Here are a few photos of some of what we did.
After Alice, we spent
2 weeks at AIM Tennant Creek.

From TC, we moved onto
AIM Elliot to fix the place up a bit.
This year we finally
got to KCC - Katherine Christian Convention.

After KCC we moved onto Kununurra to Bethel Community and then the People's Church where Phil preached for the 5 Sundays and we built them a shed and some seating
We then detoured to the Rectory of Wyndham Anglican to help with the extensions that we started by moving the electrical last year.
At Fitzroy Crossing we helped out AIM at the Junjuwa People's Church (Junjuwa Aboriginal Community) modifying their pews, making doors for the doorless toilets, and many more numerous maintenance jobs.
Junjuwa People's
Church is one of those churches that have real goats in the building!

While also at FC, Phil
was asked to go out to Bayulu Community and help out.
The toilets in the
background (of the Bayulu church), Phil helped build in '99 when we were in MMM.

After FC we headed out
to the Ngaliwanyan People's Church out at Looma Community

Our next visit was at
St Hugh's Anglican Church, Marble Bar in the Pilbara.

The Mission truck.

At Marble Bar, we
fixed the floor and renovated their kitchen.

We spent a weekend at
Karijini
At Broome Anglican, we
renovated part of their old rectory

Phil preaching at the
Broome Anglican Cafe Church.
We got caught out in
the rain when we dropped back into Looma!

Joshua's 9th Birthday
(September) at Katherine, NT.

In early October, we
headed out to Numbulwar in Arnhem Land, NT to visit a MAF family.
On the trip out
there, we had to cross 2 rivers, the Roper
and the Rose.
With the Rose being
tidal, we had to wait for low tide
After 250km of dirt,
we got bogged 5km out of Numbulwar!
While at Numbulwar, we
relaced the fly screens on both MAF houses as well as some maintenance.

After church one
Sunday, we headed out to a billabong for lunch and a swim.

And people complain
about the price of fuel in the cities!

The damage a
wayward rock can do to a steel mud flap dropper!

At Katherine AIM, we
changed the bathroom vanity and retiled the floor
Their were also many
shelf systems to removed and make new ones
During the year, SM
also had some volunteers come and replace the kitchen as well.

After Katherine, we
headed to Borroloola AIM centre and proceeded to paint the inside of the mission
house. Before

The SM logo. A
windmill on Brunette Downs, NT.
The last
"job" for SM this year was to help a young Christian farming couple
move house
In the process, we
found out that the caravan tyres after only 40,000km had to be replaced due to
all 5 developing side wall blisters. The night before we were to make the 350km
return trip to get new tyres, it rained and the truck went down - again! It sunk
down past the front axel and in sticky mud, it wouldn't budge!
The end result, we tore
up their front lawn!
Well that's it! It is really hard to know what photos to put in and what to leave out. I hope that you have enjoyed a quick trip through 2005 with Spinifex Ministries.
